Tipoki out, O’Gara to return and Pucciariello cited

Rua Tipoki faces another four weeks under the care of the medical staff of Munster Rugby following an injury to his hamstring during the defeat to Ulster on Saturday last. However Ronan O'Gara received better news on his injury after just 13 minutes of the same game. The hamstring injury is not thought to be as serious and should return for the Heineken Cup clash in two weeks time.

The Irish Rugby Football Union Disciplinary Panel will hold three separate hearings tomorrow, Tuesday, 6th January, to consider citing complaints from the Leinster v Connacht and the Munster v Ulster Magners League games.

Munster Prop Freddie Pucciariello has been cited for kicking during the Munster v Ulster game under laws 10.4 (c) and 10.4 (k).

The game saw Pucciariello and Ed O'Donoghue sin binned after justfive minutes of the second half.

Leinster flanker Shane Jennings and Leinster hooker John Fogarty have been cited for punching during the Leinster v Connacht game under law 10.4 (a)
The players were cited by the independent citing commissioners who were present at both games.  The findings of the disciplinary panel will be released following the completion of all hearings.
