Munster lose out to Clermont in 25-19 battle
Munster went down 25-19 today in France to Clermont Auvergne in round three of this seasons Heineken Cup. Leading 16-12 at half time things were going really well for the men in red. Marcus Horan had even managed to cross the whitewash for a superb team try. The second half however was littered with penalties against Munster and some impressive recycling from Clermont. Aussies Out half Brock James scored all 25 points for the home side, who at one stage in the second half looked like they were going to run wild. Munster are masters though at hanging in for a while, then coming back and that is exactly what they did. On one penalty occasion, they even went for the corner to try and win the game.
