Additional players added to HCup teams

Heineken Cup action returns this weekend

WITH the ability to name additional players during the pool stages of each European rugby competition, the Heineken Cup and the Challenge Cup, several teams have taken up that facility this week and the ERC can confirm that the following players have been nominated by their clubs as their "Additional Player" for the Heineken Cup and European Challenge Cup 2008/09 tournaments. The players they are replacing in the squads (maximum 38 players at any time) are de-registered. Keep in mind that those de-registered players may return to the squad. Notable exclusions come by way of Steve SO'OIALO and his de-registration with Harlequins while Frederic MICHALAK returns to Toulouse.
