Drom stun the men from Nemo

Drom-Broadford 0-7
Nemo Rangers 0-6
This year’s All-Ireland club Senior Football Championship endured its first major shock when minnows Drom-Broadford emerged victorious over seven-time champions Nemo Rangers by a single point in yesterday’s Munster semi-final at the Gaelic Grounds.
Drom-Broadford, who captured their first Limerick SFC title since 2001 this year, grounded out this much coveted result through possession play and rode their luck at times, with their opponents striking the upright and kicking 14 wides compared to their sole effort that tailed the wrong side of the post for the afternoon.
After the first 15 minutes, the two sides were locked at 0-2 apiece and in that time Nemo corner-forward Paul Kerrigan was unlucky to see his attempt at goal brilliantly saved by Eamon Scollard in the Drom-Broadford goal.
