Well, the hols are over and it’s back to reality. Sunny Spain is now a memory stored in the archives our lives, but a great time was had by all. I hope to log a few bits and pieces about the food side of things in Spain. Many good but a few that need addressing. Nonetheless, all and all, the Costa did the job. Thankfully we stayed away from the main hotspots full of the usual ‘fun in the sun crew’ and thus benefited from the better side of a Spanish break.

I once said that the long awaited Summer of 2008 had finally arrived. I think that was a one week spurt where the clouds broke and sun burst its way through from the heavens above. It was short and brief interlude and we loved it. The last two to three months have been nothing but misery, but at least the colour tone was constant – grey.
